Bishop Ejiba Yamapia 
EMIT’s former chairman in the DR Congo was also a Member of Parliament.

Pastor John Mutamba
EMIT’s former chairman in Goma, eastern DR Congo, developed a close relationship with one of the major Rebel Generals involved in the recent civil war in eastern DR Congo. Consequently, because of his influence and mentoring relationship with this key military leader, Pastor Mutamba was asked by the government of the DR Congo and the United Nations, to facilitate the peace mediation process.

Mrs. Denise Nkurunziza
(Graduate, 2010), is the wife of the President of Burundi. By leveraging her influence she launched numerous successful community development projects.

Pastor Staton
Gataha, an EMIT leader from Rwanda, was invited by Pres. George Bush as speaker to a conference at the White House on HIV/AIDS.

Pastor Gama
The chairman of EMIT in Mozambique, describes the vision of his church as, “A church that will influence leaders and help bring community transformation for the Kingdom of God.” Not only is he taking care of 265 orphans, but in line with his vision statement, he meets weekly with some of the most prominent business leaders in his town.

EMIT & World Relief
In a joint venture between EMIT and World Relief on HIV/AIDS awareness and training in Kinshasa, DR Congo, it was determined that the 1, 215 pastors attending effectively impacted more than 485,523 adult church members.
